Run and Gun/B-Roll/BTS
This was a challenging production that really put the emphasis on action! The goal was to document the driving class for the Carrollton Citizen's Police Academy. This class allows participants to drive a real police vehicle and experience what it is like to chase the bad guys :) I had to manage a tripod-mounted A-cam, two Go Pros, and a drone.View Video
This video is the ultimate tour of Carlsbad Caverns. It begins with aerial video of the White Sands hotel (and the bird who constantly dive-bombed my drone), then takes you along the drive to the Visitor's Center, and then into the caverns. You experience the one-hour descent in just a few minutes, followed by the full loop. My wife actually got in on the action as a camera operator for the driving shots :)View Video
This video takes you on a tour of the Royal Gorge, Cripple Creek, and Red Canyon areas in Colorado. It also represented my first attempt at using a Go Pro 10 as an A-cam.
Enjoy the trip from the depths of the Molly Kathleen mine to the top of The Arch (aerial video).
This video is a comprehensive tour of the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. It was filmed over four days. Footage was shot on foot, in private vehicle, and from a Jeep. I was very lucky to be able to shoot the same location in bright sunlight and after a light snow. Filmed entirely with an iPhone 12 Pro MAX.View Video
This is a documentary of the 2021 Ennis Bluebonnet Festival, presented in what I call a walkabout format. Live-action video is mixed with Go Pro timewarp video. This is very difficult to film as I must carefully walk a pre-planned path with a helmet-mounted cam and keep my head oriented straight ahead.View Video
Just to let you know that I do shoot indoors and interviews. I recently caught up with Robert Smith of RESCO Instruments. Robert's exceptional watch-making skills have not transitioned into folding knives. RESCO just released two new products and this video provides a complete overview.View Video
